New Poomsae Training/Updates
Hi All,
Hope you found today's training (introduction taeguek & preliminary taeguek) easy to follow. We will revise the new white belt poomsae's again next week to remember it better.
LTA training will resume most probably on the first week of february. Poomsae will be emphasised in the training. So for those going for your poom/black belt or higher dan grading, this will be an additional training for you.
Updates from STF:
1) Grading Preparation Workshop
Candidates who have attended the workshop will be awarded a pass if they are considered ‘borderline’ cases.
Members who have attended the Grading Preparation Workshop are requested, with effect from the April 2009 grading, to submit a copy of the certificate of attendance together with their grading applications.
The next grading workshop will be held as follows.
Date : 1 February 2009
Time : 2.00 to 5.00pm
Place : National Training Centre (NTC)
Dress Code : ‘Dobok’
Certification : Certificate of Participation
Fee : $30
Closing Date : 29 January 2009 (Thursday)
The workshop is open to red belts (senior and junior), poom belts and black belts
2) Players for YOG 2010
The Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) would like to beef up its youth training squad with more male and female players born in 1993 and 1994.
The invitation is open to all players who hold a green belt or higher awarded by the STF only.
Members training in the squad continue to be members of their respective clubs. They have to observe their club rules and regulations pertaining to, but not limited to, the paying of fees. Members who cease to be members of their respective clubs will not be allowed to train in the squad.
3) Taekwondo Coach Course Level 1
Congratulations to those who have passed the course.
Note:
i) Candidates are required to pass both their theory and practical tests and
complete their coaching attachment to qualify for the coaching certification.
ii) A retest will be conducted on Saturday 24 January 2009 at 5pm at the
National Training Centre for those who fail either the theory or practical
component.
iii) Those who are interested must register for the retest by Friday 23 January
2009. The registration fee is $20.

Happy New Year & Thank You!
Hello Everyone!
A very happy new year to everyone! It has been a really great year for Bishan CC & LTA Leng Kee TKD Club in 2008.
This year, we've collected countless medals for the National Poomsae Competition as well as Pesta Sukan '08.
We also celebrated the 11th annivesary of Bishan CC TKD. Again, thank you to those who've helped out in the celebrations in one way or another.
And on behalf of Rocky Sir, thank you to those who helped out at the grading just now.
A big THANK YOU to Qing Gui, Christine, Wee Yong, Terence and Choon Kiat. :D
Please remember that our next training is on the 8th of January (Yes, this thursday!).
(Haha, no more slacking hor!)
P/S: Anyone going for the training of the new poomsae? It's this Saturday, 10th January, 6pm to 7.30pm at National Training Centre.
Those keen to go, tell me. Registration closes on 6th January (Wednesday).
